You’ll go on a time-traveling adventure through history with Connie and the gang. Coming up in season 2 of Armchair Adventures are a climate-saving underwater adventure, a green-fingered adventure in compost and a unity adventure!

Season two starts on the 14th October and future episodes will be released monthly on every second Thursday of the month.

From what started as a lockdown project for a small not-for-profit theatre company in Manchester, UK – Armchair Adventures, received praise from HRH Prince William and Angela Rayner MP, Deputy Leader of the Labour Party, hit the Top 20 ‘stories for kids’ category in apple podcasts charts and was recommended by BBC Radio 4, Kids Radio and Podcast Radio.
The Armchair Adventures podcast is produced and recorded by local older people in collaboration with professional musicians, scriptwriters, producers, designers, filmmakers and actors.

Armchair Adventures is for kids to listen on their own or together as a family or group of friends. It can be played at the weekend, as an after-school treat or at bedtime. It can be popped on during grandparent visits, or over video calls with friends – there are endless possibilities for your next adventure!

Armchair Adventures follows Connie, a teenager from northern England. She has to find a way to save her parents’ travel agency business, so she reaches out to their customers for help. Together they hatch a plan and invent a different way to take a holiday – by using your imagination!
In each episode you join Connie and her plucky gang of adventurers on an exciting Armchair Adventure visiting magical places and meeting extraordinary people, from partying with the Queen to visiting a superheroes secret lair!
This is the perfect podcast to have some fun with your kids and get the whole family involved, and you’re not alone! Connie and her friends will be joining us along the way with the magic of the internet. They will all be singing, dancing and acting along to the podcast with you.
