🪙 Free!

It’s time to grab your sports kit, your imagination and get moving at Stalybridge Civic Hall with all the family in this super fun music theatre workshop!

This free event is an immersive, interactive experience for children aged 6-10, based on the award-winning children’s podcast, Armchair Adventures created here in Tameside.

This ‘Get Moving’ workshop is based on our latest episode – ‘The Biggest Obstacle Course On Earth Adventure’, where we visit a giant obstacle course and learn how to enjoy sports as a team. During the episode, the adventurers use their imaginations to transform the obstacles and themselves into fun and wacky things, from giant frogs to super-heroes in a video game!

Armchair Adventures is a fun, interactive podcast for children aged 6-10 made by older people from Tameside😀 In each episode we join chief adventurer Connie and her plucky gang of adventurers on a journey of the imagination! You’ll visit magical places and meet extraordinary people, all whilst joining in with loads of sing and move along fun.

We will be running two workshops on Wednesday 12th April, one in the morning (10am-12pm) and one in the afternoon (1pm-3pm). There are spaces for thirty children aged 6-10 in each workshop, so book yours today to avoid disappointment! Free tickets are available via Eventbrite.

*Please note, parents/guardians will need to remain with us at the venue during the session.
